It was nearly two decades ago that I heard this song for the first time. It was a great catchy tune, of those time. I thank Doordarshan and All India Radio for introducing me to this song. The first Arabic / Algerian music that I heard. I never understood the lyrics then. I just used to enjoy the line "... didi didi didi ...". I came across this song on my presumed-long-lost-playlist when I was cleaning my HDD. It instantly brought back memories of the times, when my cousins and I, danced on this song in all family gatherings. I loved the artist for his voice.
